People have distinct views about whether nature or nurture affect more to mold the personality of a person. While I accept that humans are impacted partly by genetic structure, I still believe that the environment has their influence on characteristics's inhabitants.
On the one hand, heredity plays a pivotal role in the way that personal traits are formed. That is because since a baby is born, it is inherited the genes of their parents that decide a part of their personality. For example, a fixed type of gene in medicine may have an effect on the way that an individual becomes an introvert or extrovert.
On the other hand, the process that children are brought up is also has a great impact on their personal traits. Firstly, in the mature process, kids meet various factors that affect their cognitive ability such as the characteristics of parents, the behavior that parents treat and educate them as well. To illustrate, a child who is raised in a family whose good conditions both material and mental is more likely to have a good attitude and score afterwards. In contrast, other kids that do not have enough attention from adults often tend to neglect to study in school, and even have antisocial behavior. Secondly, the school environment also influences the personality of a kid. Case in point, they could suffer from school violence from bad friends or teachers. This can lead to psychological traumas that leave numerous big consequences.
To conclude, I reckon that both nature and nurture are necessary for personality development due to their effects. Genetic structure and environment, both of them are crucial to the mature process of a person.
