Many young people today know more about international pop or movie stars than about famous people in the history of their own country. Why is this? What can be done to increase young people’s interest in famous people in the history of their country?

Over the last half-century, more and more young folks interest to aware about international celebrities than famous people in the past. In this essay, I will discuss some of the factors that influence to this and also look at some reason to improve young people’s skills about famous people in the history of their country. As far as I am concerned, internet have considerably impacted the younger generations. To put another way, young people are more likely to choose watching films, international news and listening to music. This lead to increase their wonders to know about international pop or movie stars. Another contributory factor is that today’s famous people are alive and youth have chance to see them. Taken the example, everyone know about football star is Cristiana Ronaldo, American film star is Angelina Jolly. The reason is that everywhere such as on the banner, TV, in the items are advertised only stars. Moreover, living in the media era, people are bombarded with the various types of programs like discovery. TV producers should show about well-known ancient people a lot. Furthermore, leaders should spend more activities for nation. It can improve new generation’s absorptions. Besides, government should hang their pictures in the city. For instance, in my city capital of Kazakhstan has some apartments with famous people’s pictures on the wall. In conclusion, what youngers interested in international celebrities is influenced by some factors as internet, advertising and their living. By doing so, we can increase young people’s knowledge about well-known people in the history of their country.
