The chart below shows the amount of money per week spent on fast foods in Britain. The graph shows the trends in consumption of fast foods. 7p5Ay
The chart represents how much money was spent as to buy fast foods in Britain whereas the graph illustrates data about the amount of the meals that were consumed. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was a downward trend in the rate of Pizza while the index of Hamburger and Fish&Chips increased remarkably. Another interesting point, Pizza were the most common dish among rich people, meanwhile the least popular among low income groups. Other, two items were bought twice as less as Hamburger by rich group with about 15, 20 and 45 respectively. Although moderate-income group preferred to buy Fish & Chips more than wealthy people, the index were not quite as high as Hamburger with 25 and about 32 relatively. The average expenditure of low-income class on fast foods were nowhere near as much as other classes with just 13, 22 and 26 accordingly. If we look at the consumption of fast food in 30 years, it is seen that the consumption of fast food Fish & Chips and Hamburger increased remarkably from about 90 and 40 to precisely 500 and approximately 290 relatively. In the meantime, the rate of Pizza decreased from 300 to 200 exactly between 1970 and 1985, after which it saw a slight rise by about 10 in the end of the period.
