To be labelled a ‘Work of Art’, a painting, sculpture or other art form should display certain qualities that are unique. However, over the past century there has been a decline in the quality of prize-winning artwork and it is now possible for quite ordinary pieces of art to be labelled ‘masterpieces ’ while true work of art pass unnoticed. Do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, it is observed that People are considered masterpieces art by ordinary view on that art, while in past every art have their unique feather in that art which is labeled as masterpieces. Due to this practice, there are various art which is unrecognized by people. To commence with, in current time the number of people is declining who admire sculptures, painting and another various art in compare of past few decades, So in today time if painting have few attractive colors are considered as appreciated art work so rich people are purchasing this art work in huge amount of money to use that art in decoration of home. For example, In the past art exhibitions were held every month but now it only happens once a year because the visitors are less, real paintings are unappreciated and lack of less painters and sculptures. Moverover, due to acknowledgment, famous and talented artist are leaving this profession and go to different career to earn money and become successful person. Besides, this art is an extra activity in schools not a high weighted subject that a main point where people are not interested in art but also, they think there is no successful career in art field. For example, a article was published by university of Alabama, as per that article 90% of parent are not allowed to their children if children want to make their career in art because parent think there is no future in this field. In conclusion, I am in complete unison that the artwork which were getting to people in past is far better that current one, If we want that quality of art work then people as well as government need to take some stringent step like art is compulsory subject in school.
