There is no doubt that all the lessons we gain from school are important. Although some people believe that one can be more important and essential than the other one, such as the conflict between history and science-related subjects. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument and explain my support for the former view. On the one hand, those who believe science and technology classes are more vital might argue that it can be better to prepare students for the upcoming future. This is because the technological era that we live in might want us to be open to the new techs and lifestyles according to the changes. for example, students become more equipped about future technology because of the scientific knowledge which they gain from schools. In contrast, if there be fewer of historical classes the hours of these subjects can be replaced by science lessons and that leads to raising students more equipped with technology knowledge On the other hand, my view is that history is a general knowledge which must be known by everyone. The reason for this is that the past can lead to the future and it helps young minds to draw their future. For instance, when we look at historical events we can see repetition, and knowing this cycle helps us to understand today and the future. I believe scientists get their inspiration from past errors. If school systems give enough interest to history, students will become wiser and determined about their future. In conclusion, despite the fact that science and technology knowledge teaches students about upcoming events, my firm belief is that students who learnt from the past are more vital for our future.
