Traffic is one of the greatest problem across the world and many countries making efforts to get deal with it but somehow, they cannot over come with this problem. Most of countries raise the price of fuel to solve the traffic problem and pollution but this solution is imperfect for all the scenario. The increased price of fuel directly affect some daily essentials like price of goods like milk, fruits, and vegetable, transportation fares, and many more things which needed to transported. The local people suffer a lot with public or mostly private transportation for long distance. To overcome with traffic and pollution problem, some certain rules or public awareness towards the use of vehicles may help. For even short distance most of youth use vehicle a lot, instead of they can take a walk and for the long journey use public transportation or shared transportation for same destination or on the way directions. The best example is the use of local trains of Mumbai. They are cost effective and time saver. More bridge, highways and flyover may help to control the traffic. For pollution problem, there are no perfect solution although there are some ways to make pollution in control like less use of petrol and diesel based vehicles. Some of cities have some unique solution called even- odd pattern which is who’s car’s number plate ends with even number they can use the cars only on even date and same for odd number’s cars. The raise of the fuel price is imperfect way to control the traffic and pollution, to overcome with this problem we have to think some more effective plans or actions.
