It has become very common for people to borrow money. Most people have a credit card, a mortgage and often they will buy a car on a credit as well. Is this a good idea or is it too risky? Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Money is an integral part of our daily life from buying food and providing ourselves with basic needs stuff to buying a car. Taking credits and paying with card may be revolutionary yet it has its downsides too. On one hand card payment makes it easier and more convenient in many ways. Not only that you do not have to bring cash with you all the time especially when you are purchasing something expensive, but just sliding a plastic and having your goods payed for is indeed useful. It is much more preferable nowadays because you can also order online. The risk of your money being stolen is reduced although it is not impossible. On the other hand the illusion of having more money than you actually have when using credit card can result in debts due to the fact you passed the limit. Taking out mortgages may also lead to owing the bank money with interest. Paying online and transmitting money can take a little time and that could cause a bit of delay which can be annoying in specific situations. Personal opinion is as long as people know on what to prioritize spending their money without the need to withdraw additional cash from the bank and drowning in debts, that way of payment is better. Also there are situation when taking a credit is needed making one’s life easier. If that option did not exist people’s life would be much harder.
