Dear Mr. Kumar,
I am writing regarding the books I borrowed from the library on the 5th of Jan 2022. Due to certain unavoidable circumstances there will be a bit of delay in returning the items.
The books I have taken are on the subjects of Mathematics, Science and French language. My return date was on 20th of January. I was supposed to return it on the same day; however, my brother-in-law has met with an accident, and because of that I need to rush to meet him. By the grace of god, he is now doing well. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you due to the unexpected delay. I understand that books may be required by other students of the university as well, so I’ll be returning them by 25th of January once I am back to the town.
I expect your cooperation on this matter and request you to forfeit my delay charges.
