Fashion trends are difficult to follow these days and it’s widely believed that they primarily exist just to sell clothes. Some people believe that we shouldn’t follow them and that we should dress in what we like and feel comfortable in.

Some people claim that people can learn something by looking at someone's’ clothes, which is quite significant. On the other hand, others assert that judging people by evaluating what they wear, cannot be acceptable. I hold the belief that we should not criticize someone because of the clothes they wear. The fact that, "Don't judge a book by its cover", is a well-known saying related to this issue. Even if appearance could give some information about the person and the personality, these cannot be considered everything about that person. Furthermore, the clothes and appearance of the people wear, might be deceptive. It can cover the truth; therefore, others could be manipulated that no one desires this kind of situation. So, it is likely to meet a businessman wearing casual clothes or an unemployed person who suited up. It should not be forgotten that each person has different priorities. For instance, the hairstyle can be crucial for some, while the meaning of what people say could be precious to others. Judging people, due to their priorities, is not ethical. There is no doubt that the most important indication is what ideas they have. Unfortunately, more efforts must be made to find out the treasure people hold beyond their clothes. To sum up, no one should be judged by the clothes they wear. We should try to focus on ideas people have and think twice while taking clothes as an indicator into account.
