It is a norm to see celebrities living their lives luxuriously. Though, there could be a price which needs to be paid in order to maintain this level of lifestyle which eventually lead them to be desperate. I agree that the lives of celebrities could have a good influence on us although there is always a dark side to keep the luxurious living, which will be discussed further more in this essay.
On one hand, earning enormous amounts of money could inspire some celebrities to do good deeds especially if they were poor before fame. It is very important for celebrities to be good influencers as they are role models to many of their fans. For instance, the singer Akon who is an inspirational role model made electricity reach 40 million people in Africa. Celebrities who are good influencers should always have the urge to do better as to how many fans follow them and are influenced by them.
On the other hand, getting blinded by the earnings of the fame leads to huge problems which now the society believe that they are normal since celebrities are known of these types of behaviors. Having a big ego from being wealthy leads to a negative impact on the society as well as on the celebrity itself. For instance, divorce rates are rising each year since making different ways of money earnings is more important than sustaining a family. Along with that, being involved with different unethical behaviors. For instance, there were celebrities who were caught driving while being drunk or under the influence of drugs. To be a celebrity does not always mean living a stable healthy life.
In conclusion, as many dream of living the wealthy lifestyle which we always see, many people do not realize the consequences of this living if not dealt with wisely which depends on the person itself since not every celebrity is impacting negatively as i discussed in the essay.
