The table provides information on the percentage of a household monthly income used to buy 4 essentials ( food and drink, housing, clothing and entertainment) in 5 different eu countries ( France, Germany, UK, Turkey and Spain). Overall, The most developed european countries households which are from france and germany also the uk focus their money the most on housing while the other 2 have the biggest figures in food and drink. Those first 3 countries and spain spend the least on clothing yet entertainment is the least in Turkey. In terms of food and drink, Turkey have the biggest number with 36% then comes spain with 31% which is the biggest esential focused on by these countries, on the other hand the most money spent in france, Germany and the Uk was on Housing with the percentages being 31%, 33% and 37% respectively as it shows the britains spend the most on housing.
