In some countries, even though the rates of serious crimes are decreasing, people feel less safe than ever before. What do you think are the causes of this problem and what measures could be taken to solve it?

There are some countries, where the rates of murders, kidnapping and sexual assault are reducing but some people do not feel safe. The primary causes for this phenomenon are people who are mentally disturbed and criminals who are not punished enough. The most viable solutions is the government imposing strict laws and using therapy to educate criminals. Some people had gone through a stage in their life that affected their mental health, as they cannot forget those past incidents. Due to this, people are frightened and feel less safe. Additionally, criminals didn’t learn from their past mistakes as they were not punished enough in prison because their parent’s supported by taking their side and lawyers bail criminals which result to be danger in society. For instance, many criminals try to kill the one who filed a case against them because of difficulties that they had gone through and criminals get bad remarks in society. One way to overcome these problems is by imposing strict laws to create awareness that how important steps have taken for the safety of individuals. By doing this, people will start to feel safe by the action taken by the government. Another solution is that by giving therapy to criminals on how to live life without harming people. If criminals are taught what is right for them, this can be helpful, where they get a second chance to live in the country. For example, some countries provide free therapy to criminals on teaching them how to live a normal lifestyle without any violation. In conclusion, to get rid of mental trauma of people government should impose strict laws where people will start to feel safe and teaching criminal’s healthy lifestyle will make a better future both in public and country.
