In some countries, employees are given two weeks of paid vacation time each year. In other countries, employees are given four to six weeks of paid vacation.Considering the need of both employee and employer, what do you think is a reasonable amount of paid vacation.

Nowadays, employers have decided to give paid vacation to their employees every year. Paid vacation is basically getting sometime off from work without the deduction in salary and getting paid for it. This culture is quite common in modern times. Different employers and Human Resource teams have come up with this initiative of paid leave of two weeks for their employees. This duration might differ from company to company depending on their policies. Giving sometime off is definitely a great idea as it helps the employee to go out trip or vacation or even stay back home and relax and join office back after sometime with double energy. Organizations does't put the work on hold rather disturbs it within the team that doesn't affect the work and client. Some companies also hire a temporary employee for the work which definitely costs the employee. So, keeping the paid leave to two weeks is better than four to six weeks for both employee and employers. For some critical issues, even the employee availing the paid leave gives a proper training and handover of work to their team team members or subordinates which not only help the employee to take the paid leave and join back with more energy but it also helps the team members to enhance their skill set by learning more about some critical and important issues which help in their growth. So, I would conclude by saying that it is certainly a great initiative by the employers to add an additional paid leave for two week that can help both employees and employer, however, anything more than two weeks can affect the work and employers.
