Many countries are experiencing a population growth and need more homes. Should these new homes be constructed in existing cities or should new towns be built countryside?

From last two decades increase in population became a serious problem for many countries. As population grow rapidly it is very difficult for Governments to arrange houses and facilities for people on such massive levels. It becomes a problem now adays for many countries that should they adjust the people in existing cities or new towns should be built in the countryside. In my opinion, the best way to tackle this issue is to make new housing schemes and town in the countryside. It is a long-term solution of this problem. As existing cities are already congested, the building of new houses will make it even more congested and along with this issue it would be very difficult for the local Governments to facilitate the residents, like sewerage systems, availability of gas and electricity etc. Another serious problem of the existing cities is traffic issues. As number of cars used by public increased immensely, the roads and streets are not enough to handle that traffic. Due to which every day there are long traffic jams in almost all major cities. By building new houses in the cities, it will boost the traffic issues. The best solution for this problem is that Government or public should launch new housing schemes, towns or societies countryside. As there is not much population in rural areas and vacant land is also available a big number of houses can be built there with all modern facilities. Moreover, it will also minimize the burden from many existing cities. It is concluded from above discussion that building new houses in existing cities will create problem for residents as well as for Government. The only long-term solution of this issue is to build new housing societies away from existing cities.
