Golden pen associated by union of journalists

The Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan announces an international competition for the National Prize in Journalism “Oltin Kalam-XVI” dedicated to World Press Freedom Day in order to promote the achievements of domestic and international journalism, create conditions for active civic participation of media workers, support new approaches to creative activity and promoting the development of national journalism. The competition will be held in five categories: television, radio, print media, online journalism and the best material about Uzbekistan by a foreign journalist. For the best material about Uzbekistan by a foreign journalist - one first place, four second places (television, radio, print and online publications). The competition (from March 31, 2021 to April 1, 2022) will consider materials published in print and online publications, broadcast on radio and television. The number of creative works submitted to the competition must be at least 5. Materials are accepted from the day the competition is announced in the press until April 20 of the current year. The electronic version of creative works will be posted on the page "Oltin Kalam-XVI" of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan on the site jurnalistlar. uz Printed and electronic materials must be submitted in original or referenced (printed or electronic edition with annotation) and their electronic version. Audio, video materials should have a duration of 3 to 30 minutes, and a flash card (external storage device) with an annotation. The following information must be attached to the submission. The award ceremony will take place on May 3, 2022, World Press Freedom Day.
