The given chart illustrates the information about the price of air tickets of one airline between Sydney to Melbourne and vice-versa in 2013 during two weeks.
Overall, the tickets were sold at higher prices on week one of the Sydney to Melbourne flight. In addition, the tickets were priced more during the weekends.
During the beginning of week one of flight Sydney to Melbourne, the price of the ticket was 80$. After that, it showed a sharp decline and cost half of the price, but it again showed a drastic increase and the prices of tickets were 75$ and 80$ on Friday and Saturday respectively. On the second week where it was just 50$ on Monday, it showed a slight decline till Thursday and the remaining days' tickets were priced the same as the first week.
With regards to the flight from Melbourne to Sydney, the tickets were bought at 60$ and 40$ on Mondays of both weeks, the price remained the same at 50$ for the next three days and tickets were most expensive on Friday with 80$ and 60$ respectively. The airlines observed a dip in the prices on the weekends again.
