Many discussion concentrated on the issue about some individuals claim that tourists have to comply the local tradition, whereas others think the incompatible perspective and they have the viewpoint that citizens in host country should hold the welcome attitude toward cultural varieties. In this essay, I will consider both aspects of the argument and give my opinion.
Accepting the traditions which are from the other countries bring us plenty of positive impacts. First and foremost, local citizens who have an opportunity to acquire new knowledge from a variety of locations, are prone to broaden their horizons. According to latest articles, Vietnamese, in recent years, have a tendency to expose the West’s culture such as applying English in workplaces or daily life. Local people that use English frequently, as a result, gain more proportion in their career and hierarchy. In addition, many tourists demand to keep their lifestyle while they are traveling abroad. This is able to help them to be free in their choice and also meet their needs, and can make them feel more satisfied.
On the other hand, following the custom plays a crucial role in a human's life. The main reason is that traditions are the signal of each homeland, hence, foreigners should pay attention to keep this precious asset in order to create their own mark for this country. Another reason is visitors who have a spot on behaviors or customs, will gain a chance to experience and discover this in reality. As a consequence, the more native people are impressed by the place where they travel, the more they appreciate cultural heritage.
In conclusion, regarding the irrefutable benefits of cultural integration, I am more convinced that keeping our own identity is the suitable choice. In my perspectives, authorities and each individuals should take action in balancing the customs better
