Youngsters are indubitably considered as a valuable asset to any developing or first world countries. It is often argued that youth are more inspired in their attributes and circumstances by their contemporaries which create indelible impression on their minds. However even though, this practice brings about a mixed bag of both boon and bane, its constructive effects outshines the dismal consequences. On the constructive part, society is blessed with numerous benefits because of presence of cognitive skills which are worth mentioning. To begin with, younglings are more driven by their friends in terms of imbibing communication skills, interpersonal and intellect development traits. To vindicate, in countries like India, Vietnam same age group students ostensibly play key influencing role more than teachers in planting comprehensive understanding of the academic subjects there by stimulating their intrigue towards studies. Kindness, teamwork, leadership and cordial bond of comradeship is substantially inculcated in young ones observations and imitations of attitudes of their fellow ones. For instance, in the teenage years to be specific, boys and girls considerably try to copy the actions of brighter students in order to get the attention from their educators and parents, which can be in form of body language gestures and etiquettes. Conspicuously, these factors significantly drives the children to become better version of themselves by emulating their friends attitudes and situations. On the destructive part, there appears to be potential shortcomings from this trend. Chiefly, adoption of unethical habits and wrongful actions often results in flabbergasting implications. Seemingly, if some children family is facing some financial downturn then in order to uplift the situations the child often commit crime or fall prey to consumption of drugs thereby creating a bad influence on his classmates who also start committing the same things without giving a thought on morality of their actions. Frequently, there can be some dire dismal consequences of following blindly the habit of their peers. To recapitulate, although some of the negative trends like addiction to drugs and involvement in unlawful activities are its downsides, acquiring multifarious habits like communication skills, cognitive and leadership abilities results in the paradign shift of the minds of children which is a win-win situation for the holistic progress.
