Much has been argued about the advantages and disadvantages of free movement of goods and international trading, amid national borders. From different prospective, it might be beneficial for some countries and detriment for others, depending on balance of import and export of goods between two territories. On the one hand many are the countries, producing a plethora of high quality of goods, demanding to have unobstructed shipping of their products to other nations. Reason being their domestic markets are not vast enough compare to their production rate, and they have to have customers and consumers from overseas to be able to keep running their businesses. Free or low cost of shipment of goods to the other countries, bringing about a fair competition market to participate and to vie with domestic producers. On the other hand, it is often argued by producers of importing countries that, foreign exporters shall pay high custom clearance fee movement of their goods. This strategy will consequently lead to support local producers and Companies to expand their businesses, resulting in growing economy of their country, unless otherwise, avoiding this will have dire consequences to the economy of the country.
