Dear Ms. Deepa,
I hope you are doing well. I know it’s been long time since I wrote to you. I came to know about your retirement from one of my classmate and suddenly, all those memories I had with you went through my mind which made me write this letter.
Frankly speaking, you are the best teacher who taught me. I know that I have mentioned this to you multiple times. Before you became our class teacher, the class was not united. It was like there were many groups within the class. You brought that sense of unity among the students through various activities.
On a personal note, the way you helped me in getting my shyness out was something which I will be thankful to you always. I remember you putting my name into several competitions without my knowledge and then informing me to participate. You had special affection towards me and even after leaving the school you took special classes for me prior to 10th grade and 12th grade exams which helped me to ace good marks in English.
I will always keep the life lessons you taught me and you are always like my second mother. I wish you a happy retired life. I will come meet you in person when I am in town next time.
