In many countries, life expectancy is increasing, thereby forcing people to work hard for their retirement benefits. There is an alternative option saying that people should be working earlier in their younger years. Is it a positive or negative development? j2XBa
Nowadays, people tend to work harder for security in their future retirement. This could also lead the young people to work at earlier than expected. In this essay, I will discuss if this change is beneficial or not to individuals.
The increasing needs of people forced them to push themselves to earn more. By doing this, they work for longer period of time than expected. As a result, they accumulate health diseases from spending too much time at their job and not attending to their physical needs. The relationship were also negatively affected, they could not spend more time with family. Therefore, they are not able to solve the issues due to workload and aiming for additional salary.
As for the youngsters, they were also given a responsibility earlier rather than enjoying their lives and discover themselves even more. They can't explore or try other possibilities because they were already working. For instance, a fresh graduate in university can take a vacation before they find a job, this will give them a time to reflect and strengthen their goals towards the future. Also if these young people work upfront after college, they could miss the chance for them to discover their abilities by giving them time for themselves.
In conclusion, saving for future is extremely important as people are getting older, that forces them to work more than before. In my opinion over work will have an adverse effect on both personal health and relationships of individuals.
