Hi Jimi, I hope that you are in radiant health. The reason to write to you is simple; to say how sorry I am for not coming to see you on said date of 10th May. I know it doesn't make up for the mistake, but I really want to tell this.
The fact is that I was elated that I am coming to England to have memorable time my my best buddy. But my bad luck, at the same time my MA exam is going to held on the same dates and I received the roll number slip yesterday. I felt screaming and just leaving the exam and run to you. But you know these exams are crucial for my career ahead.
I'm downcast for the sadness I have caused you. But let me make it up for you. Let's postponed our outing to 10th Jun just after the exam. We will have the planned holiday, but just a bit late. I hope this will at least do some good and bring some smile on you.
Once again, I'm extremely sorry for all this mess. Hope to hear you soon.
