With the growing availability of tablets and smartphones, many people believe that it is easier for them to watch films on these gadgets, yet, others believe in conventional ways of going to cinemas to enjoy fully the work of a film. I think watching a movie in a cinema give a more profound impact. I will discuss both views in the below paragraphs in this essay. Many people don’t like spending a lot of money on watching films in a theater and instead resort to using their phones or television and saving money by paying less. They find there is more variety available at a much lesser price and find it of more value. For example, there days, we have Netflix, Amazon, and other such platforms that can be subscribed to at a nominal value for a year, and they not only have films but other short series available to choose from. Additionally, they find it easier to watch them from the comfort of their homes, without having to plan for watching a film. They can at anytime browse these platforms and watch anything they like. On the other side, some people think that watching a film in the cinema has additional effects such as sound effects, and bigger screens, which are missing on mobiles or smaller screens. Cinemas are fully equipped with speakers, and bigger screens and sometimes have those special effects like 2D and 3D. Furthermore, the experience of watching a film with a friend or a family in the cinema cannot be compared to watching a film at home without a perfect ambience. One cannot savor the complete joy. To conclude, I do agree that there is value and flexibility in using tablets, but one cannot enjoy the work of a film without having to experience it in the cinema and on bigger screens.
