With the rise of e-books comes the decline in paper books. Some people see this as a good step forward while others do not. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

An increasing number of people are reading e-books, and as a result the popularity of paper books is in a decline. In my view, any adverse effect of this trend is eclipsed by its positives in the sense that it saves reader valuable time and money
Admittedly, reading eBooks can cause many health problems. One biggest concern is that this can have a detrimental effect on our physical health such as on our eyes and eBook readers also face some technical issues. When we stare at a screen for a long time, our eyes can be harmed because digital screens emit a lot of blue light which can negatively affect our eyes. Besides, if we forget to charge our electronic devices which are contain ebooks, we can’t read our books in the important moment, which can be avoided if we read traditional books. For example, those who read paper books all the time have better eyesight compared to ebooks readers.
However, the benefits of reading ebooks are more significant than its drawback. First of all, reading ebooks will help the students basically who do not want to spend a large amount of money buying too many bills or do not have enough conditions still can read books. So, they can acquire new knowledge more easily. Besides, when reading e-books, we will waste less time to find and buy books from the bookshelves and bookstores. All the time you just need to sit in front of laptop or phones at home to read books. For instance, Daffodil International University provides laptop to all students to carry ebooks and other software as a result they can easily read all books at a time.
In conclusion, although eBooks are detrimental effect on our physical health, these drawbacks are overshadowed by its benefits that it can be carried easily and one can buy in cheap price.
