In the modern time, children are gaining weight easily, which is also the most concerned issue. This essay will discuss the main reasons why children nowadays are overweight.
To begin with, the principal culprit of this issue is the excessive consumption of junk food in children. Due to the pressure of time in the contemporary life, parents do not have enough time to prepare home-cooked dished for their children, as such, processed and packaged will be the alternative choice for them. Moreover, fast foods are tasty than home-made dishes, which contribute to stimulate their tastes. However, we event know neither whether those foods are curtained about hygiene and the amount of the chemical substances in those foods. Clearly, we can found a variety of fast food companies in almost all corners of the world, numerous advertising campaigns of corporate for processed and packaged food in plenty of social websites and on TV. These things attribute to increase the number of the overweight children.
In addition, the lack of outdoor activities is also the main reason why children are obesity. As a result of the growth of technology, children are able to access a load of entertaining way, particularly, playing online games. It is not too tough to search for the Internet addict on the online social networking, and the fact that numerous children are internet addicts. Using internet a lot has severe effect on youngsters, makes them separate from their real life and be immerse into the virtual life. In the other words, they will find hard to be away the screen of the computer to do exercise and outdoor activities.
In the nutshell, obesity in children nowadays is the most noticeable problem. Both government and parents play essential roles in eradicating this issue.
