Thw graphs below provide information about the sales in England of three different kinds of music. the graphs together cover five decades and the sales are measured in pounds sterling. NWwQq
The two graphs illustrate the sales in England about three different genres of music for the last five decades. Classical music starts at the top in the 1960’s with four billion pounds. However after the 1970’s its sales gradually begin to drop down and by 1990’s it has fallen to a bit below two billions. On the contrary for pop and rock music the 1960’s are a turning point for good. By 1970’s rock music has reached four billions and it continues to grow and pop music has climbed up to three billion sales. The 1980’s are the peak point of rock with four and a half billions. During the 90’s thing start to change for the most popular kind of music and its sales drop. Pop on the other hand proceeds to thrive and makes it up to 5 billion. Early 2000’s are pretty much the same with very little differences in classical music and rock. 1970’s were a defining for what music kinds will be trending for the next decades and pop music took first place.
