WHAT TYPES OF TRANSPORT ARE MORE COMMON IN YOUR HOMETOWN? K7wYL
Daily commuters of my hometown heavily rely on private vehicles. Thus, there are plenty of single-occupancy cars on the roads, especially during rush hours. In turn, people usually get stuck in slow-moving traffic.
I reckon people have the tendency to use them because they are of great use. As an illustration, unlike public transportation, when one uses his car, he need not wait for other passengers to get off at their stops. Moreover, one can also enjoy a great deal of convenience and privacy in his own car.
In the town where I reside, transport is road-based and people are car-dependent. It has raised the volume of traffic and as a result, it brings about carbon emission, and streets become heavily congested. Sadly, the incessant roar of vehicles makes the city center quite noisy.
It would be much better if people started using public transportation systems because they have improved immensely and they are at hand.
I do believe that public transportation plays a key role in huge bustling metropolises because they have access to designated lanes. Regarding its advantages, I should point out that it is reasonably priced (inexpensive) so people can put away a great deal of money. In addition, it is relatively efficient, environmentally friendly and readily available.
I take the view that commuting by motorcycle is perilous because motorists don’t usually abide by the rules.
Some people have a particular liking for trolleybuses since they are by far the safest and most secure mode of transportation in my city. These buses absorb the electricity from the wires above them and move over the city. However, they are often criticized because of the unsightly jumble of wires.
Personally, I’d love to own an electric car. The beauty of this type of them is that they reduce harmful air pollution since they are made with eco-friendly materials. Apart from that, another plus point is that unlike gasoline-powered vehicles, electric cars do not require gear changes and they are also cheaper to run and maintain.
