WRITE AN ESSAY TO THE TOPIC: LIFE IS MICH BETTER TODAY THAN IN THE PAST

Nowadays, it’s clear that our life is more and more spectacularly modern. In fact, we cannot deny the benefits that changes bring to this world. In this essay, I am going to examine this statement from both points of view. To begin with, we can see that technology improves so much that it symbolizes its development. First of all, the Internet is extremely popular in human life. It is very useful for entertainment in many ways such as: watching tv, playing video games, and chatting with friends on social networks, . . . therefore, our life is more interesting than in the past. On the other hand, the internet supports education and work. For instance, as can be seen, we can use the internet to study online through online studying websites and look up information easily and quickly. Besides, electronic devices have appeared more and more such as fridges, dishwashers, hairdryers, and television, . . . they help us save time, and effort and make life more convenient and effective. In addition, there are a lot of changes for people and society. We can see that people living now are quite different from the past, especially women. Factually, women were looked down on before but now, women are respected and they have a higher foothold in society. They can join the election or become a leader and receive the salary as men, this is the biggest difference from the past. Moreover, countries have got on well with others, and cultural exchanges have appeared much more. It proves that barriers and wars between countries disappeared, instead of friendship and cooperation relationship, it brings peace and happiness. It’s perfect for humans in all the world not to be under sadness and death as before. In conclusion, it's true to say that life is better than it was. Better means change. Life has to change if it wants to develop. But, our emotional life has suffered. So, this is a challenge for people who live in the twenty-first century.
