The line graph illustrate the amount of change in fast food consumption by Australian younger children between 1975 to 2000. Overall, there was a constant increase in the consumption of fast food over 25-year period.
In 1995, Fish and chips were most popular items in terms of consumption, with 100 times eaten per year, compare with fast food, where the amount of consumption was less than 20 times per year. However, the rate of consumption of fast food continued to rise, reaching at around 100 times of Hamburger and nearly 80 times of Pizza in the last year.
The most significant increase in the fast food consumption had experienced from 1975 to 1995, with the consumption of Pizza depicted some drop by 1985. Following this, there was a slight dip in the amount in consumption of Hamburger in 1995.
In conclusion, the amount of consumption of fast food continued to rise along the period, while the amount of fish and chips showed the downward trend over the period given.
