The use of smartphones is decreasing our collective intelligence because we are reliant on the technology not on our own minds. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The use of smartphones is decreasing our collective intelligence because we are reliant on the technology not on our own minds. VgElQ
In my point of view, I quite do not completely agree that the use of smartphones is decreasing our collective intelligence because we are reliant on the technology, not on our own minds. Firstly, the smartphone is a useful technology that humans have invented for a more convenient life. The purposes of smartphones are used to search and collect information easier, solve the problem quicker, and increase our own knowledge. The fact we use smartphones for the right purposes for which it was created does not decrease our collective intelligence. Additionally, the way humans are reliant on technology is because of their self-command. In the modern age, humans use smartphones too early. This made humans reliant on technology by their habit and do not want to solve the problem on their own minds. Humans need to dominate technology, not rely on it. Finally, the decreasing collective intelligence is because humans are reliant on smartphones too much. Using smartphones is easy to be attractive. Each person of us needs to improve and develop our own self-command to dominate ourshelves. If we can dominate technology, we can use it to increase our own intelligence. In conclusion, using smartphones is a double-edged sword. Humans need to use smartphones for the right purposes for which it was created to not decrease collective intelligence.
