Some educationalists think that a programme of international exchange visits will offer various benefits for teenage school students. Do you think the advantages of it outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Some educational professionals believe that encouraging children to study internationally brings advantages to students at school. Although I believe that there are a few disadvantages for student exchange with another country, I think that this method is more beneficial for the education system. On the one hand, there are some underlying disadvantages of encouraging students to study abroad. If children find the way how foreign teachers impart their academic lessons to their students, it may attract them to study in that foreign country. Consequently, it may cause the brain drain in their origin country if they do not desire to go back, and share their valuable experience and knowledge in their country's schools. Moreover, it will become just a waste of education budget, which is more appropriate to be used for the development of educational system. And then, students exchange program allows only a few students; other students would think that is an unfair program. On the other hand, we can have countless benefits for studying overseas. Unlike the way students have learnt in their country, they will have the new experience of exploring another education system. In addition, they gain knowledge and information, which can be shared in their mother country when they get back home. This leads not only to the improvement of education system, but it also develops their country in their respective fields. Moreover, it can totally change a country, which is still developed with advanced technologies and procedures, into a developed country. In conclusion, although there are a little drawbacks for students exchange program, it is undeniable that advantages we will receive are more practical and useful in our lives.
