The bar graph compares changes in the proportions of overseas students graduating from universities in distinct areas in Canada over a period of 5 years. Overall, there were higher percentages of graduates in 2006 than in 5 years ago, with the exception of those in Alberta. A closer look at the data reveals that from 2001 to 2006, the figures for New Brunswick was the highest percentages of overseas graduate learner with 7% to 12% in the Canadian provinces, followed by Nova Scotia and British Columbia at over 10%. Meanwhile, the lowest graduates figure was seen in Alberta at 4, 2% in 2006 compared to the 2001 figure, the 2001 percentages was nearly 6%. Looking to the remaining figures, in 2006, the proportion of overseas graduate students in 4 states in Canada: Quebec, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador and Ontario show an increase of at least 2% as opposed to 2001 figures.
