The line chart illustrates that how many books are read by the male and female from 2011 to 2015 in the Burnaby public library.
Overall, the graph represents that the books read by the men are few than the women in the past while in the present the male readers has increased significantly than the female.
Initially, the men used to read 2000 books in the beginning and then it increased slowly within a year Although, women begin their journey of reading by 5000 books approximately, and rising significantly for two years where they met the male readers which are reading the same number of books as the females in 2013.
On the other hand, male readers inclined rapidly since 2012 reaching at the peak of 14, 000 books they read till 2014. However, women’s effort for reading books from the library declined by 2000 books after 2013, where both genders used to read equal number of books from the Burnaby public library.
