The chart below gives information about the production of grains, measured in million metric tons, from the years 2010 to 2015, with projections until 2030. 3g5Wn
The chart informs the number of grains produced between 2010 and 2015 and further production is predicted until 2030. The unit is used in million metric tons. Overall, it is apparent that wheat is the most produced grain throughout the years. Moreover, figures for all types of grains increased throughout the period. In 2010, wheat accounted for 100 million tons production while the figure for barley was half of the wheat. When the number of wheat collected slightly increased, barley rapidly rose to reach 80 million in 2020. Moreover, a similar trend is predicted for both grains reaching 110 and 100 respectively in 2030. Hence, the figure for barley is projected to double compared to 2010. On the other hand, rice was the least popular grain with 24. 7 million in 2010. Furthermore, a slight dip was seen in 2015 for rice. Nonetheless, it is predicted to grow back to 25. 5 in 2030, which is projected to rise merely with less than a million growth over two decades. Meanwhile, the figure for the maze was 34 million in 2010. Moreover, half a million increased in 2015. Thereafter the trend level out in 2020. Nevertheless, it is predicted to reach 35 million in 2025.
