Overall, it is apparent that wheat is the most produced grain throughout the years. Moreover, figures for all types of grains increased throughout the period.
In 2010, wheat accounted for 100 million tons production while the figure for barley was half of the wheat. When the number of wheat collected slightly increased, barley rapidly rose to reach 80 million in 2020. Moreover, a similar trend is predicted for both grains reaching 110 and 100 respectively in 2030. Hence, the figure for barley is projected to double compared to 2010.
On the other hand, rice was the least popular grain with 24. 7 million in 2010. Furthermore, a slight dip was seen in 2015 for rice.
