From an overall observation, the primary reason for boys and girls who passed their school leaving exams was English.
It is immediately apparent that the most common passes their school was English at 49. 6 percent of boys and at 65. 2 percent of girls. The next common passes was craft, design and technology at 30. 3 percent of boys and 36 percent of girls followed by the french at 19. 1 percent of boys and 30. 1 percent of girls. Geography was 0. 6 percent more common than history for percentage of boys while history was 3. 9 percent more common than geography for percentage of girls.
Apart from that, there were few differences between boys and girls. In mathematics and any science were slightly more girls passed their school more than boys.
