A topical issue in modern society is that teenagers have significantly different lifestyles to fifty years ago. There are those who say that some aspects of life have not changed. However others believe that has been changed. In this essay, I will examine both sides of this issue and provide my overall opinion.
There are several similarities between teenagers now and half a century ago. Perhaps, the main similarity is respect. Mainly because this is a way for people to appreciate a person through their behavior. In fact, many teenagers nowadays still retain this value tradition by filial piety to grandparents, parents, and know how to make concessions and help to their siblings. Another similarity is studying. For example, studying and knowledge still play an important role in people's life now and in the past. For instance, all people have to study is a traditional value of people to improve their knowledge. On the other hand, teenagers nowadays have a lot of change. The main difference is they have more freedom to choose what they like. This is because they are not forced by their parents anymore. For instance, teenagers nowadays can dye their hair. In addition, they are free to choose who they fall in love.
In conclusion, there are a lot of similarities and differences between teenagers now and 50 years ago. Perhaps the main similarities is respect and studying, and the main difference is freedom in choosing what they like and love relationships.
