Some countries have experienced an extremely rapid economic expansion in recent years. This has resulted in a regional imbalance between urban areas and rural areas. In this essay, there will be a discussion on causes and some countermeasures to eradicate such imbalance. To begin with, the regional imbalance is a major concern all around the world and in some countries, it is growing at a fast pace. Such problems create a migration where people from rural areas shift to urban spaces which result in an increase in population developed areas. Another cause is that it disturbs the income level among rustic and metropolitan. For instance, in India, states like Delhi and Mumbai has witnessed a lot of migration from other small provinces. The population of such developed cities has been booming and their job opportunities are decreasing. However, numerous countermeasures are available and government should take action to curb such issues. They should develop the countryside consequently people do not migrate to other regions. If the standard of living is remarkable, it would decrease the inequality in regions. For example, to curb such problems, the central government of India has started a scheme called UJJWALA, where their goal is to provide electricity to every village in the country. Finally, my conclusion is in recent years some countries have experienced very rapid economic development. This has resulted in much higher standards of living in urban areas but not in the countryside. On the other hand, mostly trust initially suggest the whole country relevant problems with solutions.
