Technology is destroying social interaction. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

Nowadays, technology is essential factor for communication. However, some people believe that latest gadgets like smartphones are making people less social. In my opinion, i disagree with this statement. This essay will intend to discuss my point of view against with this statement. To begin with, there are several benifits of technology in terms of communication. First of all, the smartphones are connecting to people who are living far away. This is to say that, with help of advanced facility of video calling and voice calling, people can talk with their families and friends who are live in abroad. As result, the relationship between them are much stronger due to daily conversation. Secondly, the facility of communication with other are quick and easy. It means, in ancient time people used telegram or write a letter for communication, but speed of this facilities were very slow and stressful. Therefore, compared to the past, it is quick and easy. Moreover, the help of social messaging application such as, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram people are very close and become socially connected with arouund the world. On the other hand, the every coin has two side. There are few drawbacks of modern communicating system. Firstly, people are worried to loose their privacy. At present, the cyber crime is common in cities, hacker stollen data and information for help with hacking facebook account or intagram account. Finally, the another main reason is people get addicted of mobile and pc. Thus, they are less connected with social and physical activities. Consequently, it is affecting their physical as well as mental health. To conclude, in my opinion, there are many advantages of digital phones in term of communication. However, people should less use of this gadgets for their better health.
