Your company has extra money to spend on office upgrades. Your boss wants to build 5 additional parking spaces for the employees. One of your co-workers, though, suggests building 30 bike stands to promote a healthy lifestyle instead. The company asked you to respond to an opinion survey.

I would like to opine in favour of the option B as this seems to be a far better and convincing choice for me than the other one. Though, the other choice is almost equally appealing, I would present a couple of reasons to substantiate my argument.
To begin with, our office already have car parking space for employees. However, associates using bikes, have no choice than sharing the same space for parking their bikes. Since, there is no protocol as such for biker parking, they randomly park their bikes in the parking lot and hence trouble for cars. For example, this Monday I could not get parking and noticed that several bikes occupying large number of unwanted parking lots.
Moreover, dedicated parking for bikes will encourage more employees prefer bikes who live in proximity. As a result, the traffic situation will be less chaotic during peak office hours and hence, positive impact to the city environment. Since, bike riding brings health benefits, it will increase employees productivity too. Also, bikers will be more complacent with this decision.
Having discussed all the arguments, I believe that spending surplus funds on bike stand would be more beneficial than adding few car parking spots.
