Standard of Living Nowadays, most countries can improve the standard of living through economic development, but some social values are lost as a result. Do you think the advantages of this phenomenon outweigh the disadvantages?

Over the past few decades there has been increases in standard of living in most countries, which was direct outcome of economic growth. In contrast, there has been declined in growth of social values. Since industrial revolution many countries has gone through industrialization, which has result in growing rate of employment. As a result, the tax rate has been increased, that can be allocate to healthcare and education system. As a result the standard of living has been growing ever since up to now. On the other hand, there has been many negative impacts of industrialization, which are worth considering. One of that is that it drawn the community toward individualism which in result limit the social life, which I believe is the core foundation of what we know as social values. In conclusions, even though the crucial rule of economic development in improving standard of living can't be denied. It is also essential to be aware and protect our social values against any potential harm it may cause.
