In contemporary world, there is a significant increase in a vast majority of people who want to live independently and take advantage of their time for themselves rather than with friends. While this could be true to a certain extent, I believe hanging out with friends is a good way for us to be mature owing to the fact that they are good motivators, advisers, and they manufacture my life full of fun and joy. This following essay will take a look at both side of the argument and clarify my viewpoint.
On the one hand, friends broaden our knowledge about various fields. In free time, we often talk about new released movies, books and novels or about political issues, which support me to know about their views. Thanks to that, we will have more motivation to progress. Moreover, if we have friends, we always feel happy and joyful. To illustrate, whenever I pass the exam, my friends cheered me up in a way that make me more confident. Also, friends help us find solutions to our problems include our beloved one because people tend to share their issues with someone who at the same age.
On the other hand, independent life can be seen as a positive trend as it helps human produce a mature mindset and do not depend on anyone. Whether we don not go out with friends in leisure time, we will have more time for ourselves to develop skills and saving habits for our future. In addition, independent individuals can spend a number of money as they do not need to go shopping or drink coffee with friends on a regular basis.
Taking everything into consideration, I think that the benefits of spending time with friends outweigh its drawbacks. Although spend time alone promotes our maturity, I hold the view that friends help me to tackle my problems, and lead my life full of happiness and entertainment.
