In the past, most of the people used to travel to their place to work. With increased use of computers, the internet and smartphones, more and more people are starting to work from their home. what are the advantages and disadvantages of this development? Bb6OV
We've faced the development of technology which caused the invention of computers, the Internet, and smartphones individuals' job who now could work from home instead of actually going to a significant place. Although It's much easier to do your work from home and simply connect through internet and share it with colleagues, It's much healthier to actually leave your home and communicate with people personally or do some exercise as well. In my view, the drawbacks outweigh the positive aspects of this turn of events.
On one hand, one can simply connect to the internet and work with his colleagues or teach his students online. like what we had during Covid 19. people could go online and make a Zoom meeting in order to see each other and interact with their friends or co-workers. But they had no physical movement and sat on a chair for a couple of hours.
On the other hand, workers and their employees can walk to work or have some exercise and use the subway or their own bicycles to arrive at work. Then they can easily solve problems that are related to their job and communicate with each other.
To conclude, in the past, most individuals went to work by themselves. Nowadays with the development of the internet some work from their home. The main advantage of this attitude towards working was communicating with co-workers and doing some exercises on to way to work. Today the main disadvantage is sometimes some problems won’t solve online and you have to go through them by yourself and your colleagues.
