Some people think that there are things individuals can do to help prevent global climatic changes. Others believed that actions by individuals are useless and irrelevant and that it is only government and large businesses which can make a difference. Discuss both views and give your opinion E9JDB
It is often argued that there are activities people can engage in to eradicate global climate variations while some believed that it lies on the shoulder of the government and major enterprises only to curb this menace. I strongly believed that prevention of global warming lies solely on every individual inclusive of the government and business owners. This essay will discuss both views in detail.
Climatic changes are those modifications in weather patterns which could be as a result of the release of pollutants into the atmosphere. Human activities contributes greatly to this. Nevertheless, government and business tycoons can prevent this by using the recycling method rather than burning the waste example like plastics, the gases which are the end product of those plastic, will escape into the atmosphere causing a greenhouse effect. Futhermore, laws should be put in place for the regulation of gases release by the enterprises. For instance, due to the dumping of refuses into the sea, it have cost the lives of the aquatic animals, leading to the production of fossil fuel which could have been avoided by recycling.
On the other hand, individuals and families can help to overcome this challenge by the process of afforestation, which is the planting of trees. It can serve as a wind breaker, food to the animals and shade.
In addition, people can make use of landfill method of trash disposal instead of burning, it releases carbon monoxide and other gases into the environment, causing depletion of the ozone layer. For example, attention should be paid to the use of cars with damaged exhaust pipes as it is one of the major air pollutants by setting up laws to curb that as well.
To sum up, people can prevent the changes in the climatic condition by getting involved in farming, proper waste disposal while the government and the large companies can embrace this by the use of recycling method and laws and regulations to curtail this.
