Studies have shown that in many countries the income gap between the rich and poor is ever increasing. What problems can arise from this situation and what could be done to address this situation?

Economic disparity between the rich and poor is growing throughout nations and is evident in research. This essay puts forward the various issues concening income disparity and lately, it will suggest some ideas to overcome this particular problem. One of the serious challenges that immerges out of income inequality is the unaffordability of basic services like health care and education services for poor, which may create a "cycle of poverty". Take for example the case of a family whose child could not access quality education and has low chances of employability in future. Another critical concern out of economic disparity is the emergence of class structure of rich and poor which may develop hatred between the two classes. This has been quite evident throughout our history that there has been a class conflict between the rich and the poor. Both of these classes are at a war with eachother and that is harmful for the development of the nation. Economic inequality can be overcome mainly by ensuring equality of oppurtunity to each individual irrespectiveof his or her class. This will give a platform for the poor and destitute to workoff for their econnomic betterment so that they can have a better quality of life. Another suggestion for avoiding this can be that state has a machinery to check that the accumulation of wealth to a handful of people is prevented. Examples of this can be seen in the Repulic of China where the state. Economic disparities are harmful for the overall development of the society as it may lead to lack of access to basic services and the division of society into classes. Moreover, State should ensure equal acess to resources to prevent the issue of economic inequality.
