Some people think that certain old buildings are more worth preserving than other ones. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this cutting edge era, many people believe that some old structure buildings are more beneficial to save rather than some other ones. I partially agree to aforementioned statement due to fact that it tells about our history while it can also lead to death of many people. To enhance with, many buildings which are made up in previous centuries have history related to our country, culture, religion, caste, and many beliefs. As a result, if we will not save our historical buildings than our history and bravery of warriors are in danger. For instance, The Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar was made after the death of many innocent people, who were just protesting for their freedom and English officials put rounds of fires on them without informing them. So that is why this buildings is important for our country history and our people. On the other hand, many other buildings like temples, schools, hospitals, and shops have a bad infrastructure. As, these buildings were made long time ago, they are at a risk of crashing down due to rainfall, storm, or many other reasons. So these buildings are not beneficial for humankind to take care because they can take our lives. To epitome: last year while doing shopping in Elante Mall in Chandigarh, 35 people lost their lives as building roof was old and crashed down due to heavy rainfall. To recapitulate, I would argue that we only have to preserve that buildings which have some reasons like history to our country while for the other ones, we have to think because they can also take our lives.
