These days, problems relating to environment has been more and serious. Some people indicate that the extinction of specific creatures is the major environmental issue of our time. Whereas the opponents assume that there are more crucial environment - related problems. This essay is going to discuss both view before commenting on writer's stand.
On the one hand, the loss of particular species is the main problem. It can not be denied that every species play a specific role that is indispensable in ecosystem. In other words, the balance of ecosystem is hold thanks to all animals and plants in the world. Therefore, if any species was exctinct, there would be a balance-loss in ecosystem. Take the food - chain of animals for instance, it is well-known that rabbits often consume grasses. Were there a loss in grasses, rabbits would be on the verge of extinction as well since grasses are their main nutrition. As a consequence, animals eating rabbits might be dead too because of the shortage of foods. Gradually, all animals may come to extiction because of the lack of foods.
On the other hand, animals and plants loss is not considered as the most urgent issue. It is undeniable that apart from the extiction of animal, there are still numerous environmental problems that is on emergency and need tackling as soon as possible such as global warming and environmental pollution. Global warming can leads to climate changes and other castrography disasters like flood, drought, etc that can considerably threaten the existence of tremendous creatures and human. Similarily, the contamination of environment such as air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution results in many health problems for people and put lives of many animals and plants in danger.
In conclusion, it is admitted that the loss of particular species is not the main environmental problem of our time. However, I am of the opinion that people should take action as soon as possible to tackle this issue.
