Our world today runs on money and it is one of the integral parts of our lives. Few people believe that the only route to happiness is their finances while on the opposite side, others believe there is more to life than just monetary gains. In my opinion, although money pays vital role in our life, it is not the sole reason for being content. This essay will address the reason for the same.
Happiness is a very objective concept where everyone has their own point of view about it. I believe being ecstatic consists of a lot of things, such as, satisfaction, peace of mind and love along with the finances. There are circumstances people have loads of cash in their basement but do not necessarily have the pleasure of family, love or are not content with the things they have. Everything needs to be in balance.
Furthermore, one who has enough bank balance in his account is less driven to work and has less amount of struggles. As opposed to popular belief that lack of hardship might lead to greater satisfaction, I am opined that person loses the thrill to live. This is one of the core reasons we encounter depression and suicides with celebrities and the riches.
In conclusion, yes, money plays a crucial role in serving as a source for buying necessities and its absence is not desirable. It does not pave way to being euphoric. Our time between birth and death have numerous contributors like family, love, and urge to achieve something large that helps us survive through it. Hence, one should yearn for peace of mind where we will find our happy place over peace of our body.
