Food is the main source of survive for mankind. We should make sure, it doesn't have a bad effect on environment as well as on economy of the country as a human being. Few people prefer to eat local food and vegitables, while others like to have a imported food. This essay shall discuss both facets of consuming food. One of the major benefit of consuming locally grown food is that human can get fresh and authenticate food. Locally produces food doesn't require long transportation. As a result, consumer get food at a cheaper price as there is no addition of transportation fees. Farmer can get more money as there is no any additional company between them. It doesn't require storage facilities. so it leads to get fresh foods to consumers. on the other side, it is not possible to grow all kind of foods and vegitables locally. It leads to have a less nutrition in human. Less transportation could result in to unemploment. Transportation could be done via road, air or sea. Every mode of transportation requires fuel. It can affect the environment very badly. It's our responsibility to take care of environment. Consumer is able to taste variety of foods all over the world. It also helpful to spread local foods across the world. To conclude, environment friendly people use the old traditional method of consuming foods and vegitable which is eating locally grown food, as it also better for our environment as well as economy.
