The two sites chosen for the construction of a new school in the town of Canterbury is compared in a map.
Overall, the first site is represented by S1 and is placed at the end of the main road that runs across the town (5km) close to Sturry, where the population is 7000. The second site, represented by S2, is placed almost in the middle of the Canterbury town in a no traffic area, more or less equidistant from either ends of the main road.
As S1 is located on the west corner, it will take more time for people from the east to reach there. However it has the advantage of natural scenery as it is placed in the countryside. The University is located at the far north-west to S1.
S2 on the other hand is placed at the very middle of the town's housing area and at the south border of the Town Centre. S2 is connected to a town named Chartham through main roads where 4500 people live. It takes a 7km ride from S2 to reach there.
It'd the fair to say that the pros of building a school in the site S1 are more than building one in S2.
