It is often considered that conducting a research on animals could be prevented, whereas others argue that development on medicine could be advanced, using animals as subjects. This essay discusses both sides of this argument, and then I will my own opinion that I agree with the latter. Some elaborate that exploiting animals' lives for the sake of humankind may be immoral because those animals are forcedly isolated from their families and peers for a medical research. As a result, they may be paralised or killed by uncompleted medicine. In fact, plenty of studies demonstrated that they have their own affections as well as people have. Depriving their rights to live should not be doomed by human decision. Opponents believe that it is indispensable for people to use animals for betterment of medical studies because if scientists had not done any research with animals and then found cures, a spate of diseases could not have been healed. Moreover, it is understandable for a powerful animal to dominate others. Thus, humankind who is superior to the other creatures might have a privilege to control them. In conclusion, although both sides have some merit, my stance on this issues is that exploitation on animals to advance a medical filed could not be avoided because it is necessary for people to provoke sacrifices in order to flourish. As matter of that fact, not all species may not be happy including human. While some people are happier in their lives, others are suffering from their lives. Therefore, animals utilised on development on researches is essential for people to survive.
